Our oceans have been filled with plastic pollution for years and the trillions amount of plastic and garbage just continues to grow. In order for this issue to become more aware to officials that can really help it starts with us. We, the people, are the only ones with the power to push and show that this IS in fact an issue that needs to be dealt with before it gets any worse than it already is.

Currently, many animals in the oceans are killed every day because of our plastic pollution. Their habits are destroyed by what our very own garbage has done. There are policies in place but has anyone noticed that? The policies aren't doing what we need them to do. We need to add to them, to make new ones, so our oceans can be clean.
