The poaching and trade of illegal wildlife has escalated into an international crisis. International trafficking of endangered species is the 4th most trafficked commodity after humans, drugs and arms. Every day over 100 African Elephants are poached for their ivory. The Rhinoceros has been hunted to near extinction with a population of less than 30 000 left alive today. These are only a couple of examples of what goes on in this cruel industry worth $19 billion per year. This horrific situation is only getting worse. The International Court of Justice doesn't have their own court to deal with crimes against wildlife and this petition is to get justice for those who can't speak for themselves. I want an International Court of Justice for crimes against wildlife.
