As a survivor of sexual abuse, I have encountered many other individuals that have suffered the experience of the very same trauma. I have come to realize that the perpetrators are never cured nor rehabilitated. Once released from prison if ever convicted they not only reoffend but become more cunning and more daring. The point of prison is rehabilitation. If a person cannot be rehabilitated they become a threat to our society. These particular types of criminals are a threat to our children. Once a child is molested/ sexually assaulted the likelyhood of them becoming an offender is indeed high. The cycle is continued. In order to end such cycle we must quarantine the sick. By giving them life sentences instead of probation or short sentences. We must lock them away from children. For the only cure to the sickness of pedophilia is to be isolated from children until death! I urge the community and government officials to take the facts and psychology aspects of this particular subject into consideration and protect our children and future children from the dangers and consequences of these types of traumas. My Goal here is to bring awareness and a solution to a generational issue.
