We are a part of a 4,300 member group of supporters of the Shaker Lakes Parklands.  We write to thank you for your participation. With your help, massive and permanent changes have been delayed for regulatory decision-making. This offers time for our communities to secure comprehensive plans to save Shaker Lakes Parklands. Our volunteer cadre actively increases awareness to save Shaker Lakes Parklands.

Our current priority is to have you, your friends, and neighbors send a letter to the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Please go the the shakerlakesconservancy.org website.  Select one of the letter templates, which you can personalize. Follow “Writing Guidance and Templates”.

Email your letter no later than Thursday, June 25.

This letter writing campaign seeks alternatives to proposed plans and includes a request for a public hearing with regulators.

We will continue to communicate updates with you. We seek your ideas and invite you to volunteer time with this grassroots effort
