I, like many others, enjoy the tradition of watching the Super Bowl. It's a time when friends and family gather together to enjoy a game that has become a significant part of our culture. However, the event often falls on a Sunday night, making it difficult for those who have work or school commitments the following day.

Presidents' Day is currently observed on the third Monday in February. This federal holiday could be better served if it were moved to the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday. This would allow more people to fully participate in and enjoy this cultural event without worrying about their obligations for the next day.

According to Nielsen ratings, over 100 million Americans tune into watch the Super Bowl each year (Source: Nielsen). Imagine how much more enjoyable this experience would be if we didn't have to worry about waking up early for work or school?

By moving Presidents’ Day closer to Super Bowl Sunday, we can accommodate weekends with holidays and make these events even more enjoyable for everyone involved.
