Remove Mohammad Mohammadi,a former Iranian goalkeeper, from the United States.
The Issue
MOHAMMAD MOHAMMADI ,a former professional football goalkeeper for major Iranian clubs including Esteghlal, Persepolis, Saipa, and others, also played in the United States for OC Blues FC, where he obtained U.S. residency through his athletic career.
Today, he serves as General Manager of Foolad Football Club in Iran.
He obtained U.S. residency through his athletic career and has since maintained continuous travel between Iran and the United States, along with his family.
Despite benefiting from U.S. residency, he has repeatedly expressed public support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and has made multiple statements against the United States. His interviews and public appearances—widely available on social media and video platforms—clearly reflect these positions.
Since assuming his executive role, he has demonstrated increasingly visible alignment and close ties with the IRGC and institutions affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He has also participated in state-aligned events and has consistently expressed views that raise serious concerns regarding U.S. national interests.
At the same time, he and his family continue to travel between Iran and the United States, benefiting from the privileges and opportunities of U.S. residency.
The United States should not be a place of residence or privilege for individuals who openly support organizations such as the IRGC while benefiting from the freedoms and protections offered here.
📣 CALL TO ACTION
We call on U.S. authorities to review this case under applicable laws and take appropriate action.
