Reject Mike Waltz’s Nomination to the United Nations
The Issue
The U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations must be someone the world can trust—someone who exercises sound judgment under pressure, who takes responsibility for mistakes, and who understands the weight of their words and actions.
Mike Waltz has proven he is not that person.
During his time as National Security Advisor, Waltz invited a journalist into a private Signal group chat discussing sensitive military operations in Yemen. Whether or not classified material was technically shared, this kind of carelessness with national security should never be acceptable from someone in one of the most powerful diplomatic roles in the world. Instead of taking ownership, Waltz deflected blame, denied wrongdoing, and lashed out at critics—even while two Pentagon investigations are still ongoing.
This isn’t the kind of leadership we need at the United Nations. His actions, and his unwillingness to show real accountability, reflect a dangerous lack of judgment in moments of crisis.
The Senate must take a stand for responsibility and integrity. Confirming Mike Waltz would send the message that recklessness and blame-shifting are acceptable in our top diplomatic roles.
Tell the Senate: Vote NO on Mike Waltz’s nomination. We need leaders who represent the best of America—not more excuses.
