Protect Pleasant Valley & The Westside: Stop the AT&T Cell Tower at 32nd Street

Protect Pleasant Valley & The Westside: Stop the AT&T Cell Tower at 32nd Street
The Issue
Stop the AT&T Wireless Cell Tower at 111 North 32nd Street
We, the residents of Pleasant Valley and surrounding neighborhoods in Colorado Springs, are coming together to oppose the proposed AT&T Wireless Cellular Facility at 111 North 32nd Street (Planning Department Record No. WCFE-25-0033).
We are deeply concerned about the pattern of approving conditional use permits on this property to bypass the existing Residential zoning codes.
Additionally, we’re concerned about the negative impact on property values. Studies show that visible cell towers can reduce nearby home values, threatening the investments families have made in their homes and in this neighborhood.
Many residents remain uneasy about the noise, lighting, and maintenance traffic such facilities bring.
Research is also emerging that RF emissions may disrupt local wildlife and pollinators, adding stress to already fragile ecosystems.
This facility could also obstruct our mountain views, a defining feature of our neighborhood and community identity. Our views are not just scenery—they are part of the character, quality of life, and pride of living on the Westside.
Many neighbors have questions and concerns due to a lack of information around the project. Concerns include (and are not limited to) the possible need for re-zoning, tower location specifics, and no known impact studies (geological, wildlife, etc.) attached to the application.
We are not opposed to improved cellular service—but believe this location is the wrong choice and with more questions than answers we call on the City of Colorado Springs Planning Department and Case Planner Drew Foxx to deny this facility.
Please sign this petition to show your support and help protect the beauty, value, and character of our neighborhood.
