Something is very wrong in the BYU-Hawaii campus. Sovereignty Extremists in power are offended by the McKay Mosaic and set to erase the McKay legacy in the Laie campus.

Please ask The First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve to investigate (ask for much more details) and reconsider (talk with others besides the silo administrative team) tearing down the McKay Mosaic and Foyer. Valued historic places are regularly preserved by architects and structural engineers.

We send thousands of missionaries to preach the gospel. We spend millions of dollars in missionary work. Why is the current BYU-Hawaii Administration hell-bent on removing this unique missionary tool that has been running since 1972. The Polynesian Cultural Center Visitors have been touched and conversions ensued.

The BYU-Hawaii McKay Complex is not just "renovating". the entire McKay Complex will be torn down. The McKay Mosaic will be gone!  What will the PCC tram tours see?   Expecting tourists to enter into the new "Disney Aulani Welcome Center" to learn more defies logistics.

We're doing our best to respectful and focus on basic information that raises enough red flags about the erasing of the McKay Mosaic. Our premise is that the local BYU-Hawaii leadership is controlling and packaging the information and the narrative to Salt Lake City. There is a lot of "affinity trust" at play. We maintain this "affinity trust" is grossly manipulated and abused.

Please do your part. Do your part to inform the First President and the Twelve Apostles. The least you can do is print the petition and one of these UPDATES and mail to the following address. Share this petition link  https://www.change.org/p/preserve-the-david-o-mckay-foyer-for-posterity
