Over the past few weeks there have been 3 large scale kidnappings of schoolchildren in Nigeria, the most recent being 317 children.  This has received very little coverage from the media and their government has no significant plan, there are still over 100 children missing from the 2014 abduction.

The 2014 kidnap of 276 schoolgirls in the north-eastern town of Chibok by Islamist militants Boko Haram brought global attention to the scourge of raids on schools in Nigeria but the most recent attacks are suspected to be the work of criminal gangs.

Regardless of why it is being done, education needs to be a protected, universal  right of these children and they are specifically targeting mostly females.  
 They must have secured schools, the ability to defend themselves and a plan to stop this senseless practice.  Islamist terrorists trying to stop their education and now criminal thugs in the 100’s armed and demanding ransom must stop immediately.  We need you to elevate this issue, keep it in the media, put pressure and assist with any funds that you could.  This whole thing is a travesty.
