Remove 'Sweet but Psycho' by Ava Max from UK radio broadcasts

Remove 'Sweet but Psycho' by Ava Max from UK radio broadcasts
The Issue
In recent years the UK has come a long way in both challenging and combatting stigma towards those suffering with mental illness. 'Sweet but Psycho' by Ava Max projects a message that flies in the face of this progress. Lyrics such as "Oh she's hot but a psycho" and "She's poison but tasty" not only demonise women with mental health conditions but also sexualise and objectify them. Pop music such as this is targeted predominantly for a young audience, those of which are vulnerable to this kind of dangerous language. As someone who has suffered with a mental health condition since a young age, I speak on behalf of many for whom this type of media could be extremely damaging towards.
This petition calls for the removal of 'Sweet but psycho' from public broadcast on UK radio stations and other media sources to protect those vulnerable and to challenge the stigmatised message it broadly projects.
Thank you for signing.
