The Issue
CALL TO ACTION: Special Interests Groups ARE NOT NJ constituents!
GOAL: Tell the New Jersey State Senate and Assembly that legislation should NOT infringe on our 1st Amendment right!
In the upcoming week the NJ State Senate and Assembly will vote on Bills S1923/A925, which isolates pension companies that stand AGAINST Israel’s inhumane policies of ethnic cleansing and oppression.
S1923/A925 will “prohibit investment of pension and annuity funds by NJ State in companies that boycott Israel or Israeli businesses.”
The NJ State Senate and Assembly SHOULD NOT allow a foreign government to restrict Americans’ 1st amendment rights. This bill will suppress Palestinian human rights activism, and set a dangerous standard of erasing Americans’ constitutional right to advocate against human rights abuses across the globe.
