Erik Simonsen is a multifaceted public figure with a diverse career spanning education, music, and public service. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from The College of New Jersey, a Master's in Special Education and Teaching from Rutgers University, and a Master's in Administration from the University of Scranton. Simonsen has served as a Vice Principal at L.C.M.R-Teitelman Jr. High School and a Supervisor at Cape May County Special Services. In addition to his educational roles, he has been active in local government, serving as Mayor and Council Member in Lower Township. He is also a singer/songwriter and has held leadership positions with Families of Autistic Children Educational Services and the N.A.A.C.P. Cape May County Chapter.
