In America acne scarring revision treatments are not covered by insurance due to the treatments being "not medically necessary"

The solution is to start this petition and garner enough attention and signatures from patients and medical providers so that we can stand together as one and come face to face with insurance executives who hold the decision making power and to further have the support of Congress and enact a bill that would become law, where insurance companies must include acne scarring revision treatments as part of their policies. Insurance companies must be held responsible for their lack of help and neglect to our mental health.

Acne scar and burn patients deserve affordable healthcare.

Not only do acne scar and burn patients deserve affordable healthcare and treatments but they also deserve an insurance policy that fully and entirely covers the cost of these expensive treatments.

It’s unfair that patients have to suffer mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. We understand that the cost of these treatments are ridiculously expensive and that it’s not any providers fault. The high cost is due to manufacturing, supplies and insurance companies choosing profit over patients.

The majority of this issue lies in the American healthcare system and we’re going to change that.
