We call on Congress to fulfill its constitutional duty by initiating a formal evaluation of the President’s fitness to serve under the 25th Amendment. This safeguard exists to protect the nation in times of serious concern about presidential capability.

The strength of the United States has always depended on stable, capable, and accountable leadership. The Constitution provides a clear process to address situations where a President may be unable to fulfill the duties of the office: the 25th Amendment.

When legitimate concerns arise regarding a President’s judgment, stability, or ability to carry out the responsibilities of the office, those concerns must be addressed through lawful and constitutional means.
