Public transportation is a lifeline for community members, especially young ones like us. According to the American Public Transportation Association, communities that invest in public transit reduce the nation's carbon emissions by 37 million metric tons annually. Thus, improving this system is also a step towards a greener, more sustainable future. An enhancement in our neighborhood's transportation options is crucial not just for us students, but for everyone it facilitates. Call upon the local authorities and transport department to implement more accessible and reliable transportation in our neighborhood. It's time our particular needs and hardships are addressed.
