Hello, I am a student at Halifax West. We just got information that Drama 12 is being cancelled. We are all devastated. Apparently Drama 12 isn’t the only class being canceled. They’re also canceling Band. Many of us need these classes for our universities to get the degrees we want. It’s totally unfair to get rid of these classes in peculiar. All of us are in grade twelve and we aren’t gonna get another chance to take Drama again next year since we will all be graduating. This ruins our Career paths, Graduation plans and our excitement for the Grade 12 year at Halifax West High School. The only way we can keep these classes is if we fight. Drama is out only positive place in school that we feel safe and happy. Drama has given us reason to go to school. It’s heartbreaking to even think we can’t have Drama 12 next year. Please sign so we can actually look forward to our grade 12 year.
