STOP THE AFTER SCHOOL SATAN CLUB IN OUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

The Issue

If you haven’t already heard, the “Satanic Temple of St. Louis” is trying to infiltrate ELEMENTARY schools across the nation with their “After School Satan Club”. This organization petitioned their program to be instated at the Watkins Elementary School here in Springfield, MO. If this proposal is approved by the Springfield School District’s superintendent, John Jungman, don’t think this trend will stop with this one school. We have to stop this before it’s too late.

You do not have to be a Christian or even a religious person to understand the absurdity of this. Any respectable parent should condemn any teachings of evil, hate, and sin to our children in the public school settings. Children are extremely impressionable and could be very easily taken advantage of by ideas of something “cool” that promotes the “do what thou wilt” idealism from Aleister Crowley. If you aren’t familiar with Aleister Crowley, he’s been noted in the popular press as "the wickedest man in the world" and satanist. He practiced “sexual magic rituals” that involved raping, torturing, mutilating, and dismembering infants and young boys to obtain more power. I’ve now explained why these people want to have access to our children. If this seems too unbelievable, then check out Mr. Crowley’s book, “The Best of the Equinox, Sex Magick.” Do you want your child exposed to an organization that promotes these types of acts, let alone give them access to your child?

I’m aware of the comments I’ll receive by followers of this group, so I’m responding in advance. Please parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, anyone, don’t be fooled by this group’s agenda. They will say that they don’t worship Satan, and they’re atheists that do not believe in a higher being. This is a lie. Please wake up and use common sense. Satan is a liar and deceiver, why wouldn’t his followers be the same? These people will say that they don’t worship Satan. So, why name their program after something they don’t believe in?

In 2001, The Supreme Court ruled in the case of Good News Club v. Milford Central School that “schools operate a “limited public forum” and that, as such, they may not discriminate against religious speech should a religious organization choose to operate an After School Club on their premises. Christian evangelicals — particularly the Child Evangelism Fellowship — have taken advantage of this ruling ever since. As it is illegal for the schools to discriminate against particular religions or preference others, After School Satan Clubs cannot be denied wherever Christian, or any other religious clubs, operate.

However, their organization contradicts itself. They want to be considered a religion. Apparently, they don’t know the actual definition of religion. They’re so adamant about the fact that they do not worship any higher entity and are atheists. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “religion” as:

1. The belief in a God or a group of gods.
2. An organized system of beliefs, ceremonies, and rules used to worship a god or a group of gods

Their website, afterschoolsatan.com, will state that parents will have to sign a permission slip to allow a student's attendance to their program. That’s great, but you don’t think your child won’t hear about this group promoting the idea of “do what thou wilt” from their friends? Would your child be enticed by the idea that they should be able to do whatever they pleased without punishment? I know my child would. If you don’t think your child would be too, then you’re in denial. Signing a permission slip will not protect your child from the evil of this program in their school. This group states that their intent is to focus on “free inquiry and rationalism, the scientific basis for which we know what we know about the world around us. We prefer to give children an appreciation of the natural wonders surrounding them, not a fear of everlasting other-worldly horrors.” As a parent, do you know any 5-year old that has the capacity to understand “free inquiry and rationalism” regarding the “scientific basis for which we know what we know about the world around us”? The answer is NO.

Please, help me in exposing this group as what they truly are. Don’t put our children in harms way by allowing this organization to brainwash them.
