There hasn’t been much done to offer assistance to students who are paying for their own fees during the covid-19 pandemic. The only students taken into consideration are those funded by NSFAS. We hereby request that self-funded student be allowed to register for the second semester without settling fees owed. Like all other sectors that have been affected by this pandemic, students who are considered the “working class” have not been able to secure funding from NSFAS but are also not well off to pay for fees during this pandemic and are in need of financial assistance.
