As a group of constituents in Indiana’s 2nd District who wholeheartedly believe in the Constitution and the Rule of Law, we demand Representative Rudy Yakym to hold his first Town Hall meeting since taking office in 2022. Not only do we pay taxes, but we also strive to be active participants in the democracy that shapes our lives. We feel that our representation in Congress is incomplete without the opportunity to voice our concerns directly to our representative.

Many critical issues are at stake in our district. These concerns include human rights, public education, comprehensive healthcare, environmental challenges, unions and wages. We urgently require a platform to discuss these matters and to express our perspectives and needs. 

In addition to this, based on a study by the Congressional Management Foundation, Town Hall meetings vastly improve public opinions of Congress and trust in government, a key factor towards a stronger United States of America.
