Demand Condemnation of Indian Government's use of BRUTAL Force
The Issue
As an Indian citizen, it pains me deeply to witness atrocities committed against peaceful young protesters in the largest democracy in the world. Their sole demand is accountability, yet their voices are met with brutal force. In recent years, India has seen a disturbing trend in its treatment of students and their demands for justice and integrity within the education system, especially concerning the NEET 2026, CBSE 2026 Results, and various government examination and recruitment processes.
The government should protect its citizens, especially its youth, the bearers of future dreams and ambitions. However, thousands of students have succumbed to the pressures and anxieties induced by these flawed systems over the last 12 years, culminating in tragic instances of suicide. These young lives could have contributed tremendously to society, but were instead lost to corrupt practices and administrative lapses.
Despite these dire circumstances, the current Indian government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has failed to take responsibility for these chronic issues. The government must be held accountable for the examination and recruitment scams, which have undermined the trust and faith students and their families place in the system.
The brutal repression of those who seek accountability through peaceful protest only adds to the growing concern about democratic backsliding in India. It is imperative for foreign governments, particularly those that uphold democratic values, to condemn these actions and demand change.
We call upon the government of Ontario, as well as the broader Canadian government, to issue a strong condemnation of the brutal force used against peaceful protesters in India. This is not merely a national issue; it is a global one that speaks to the core of democratic principles and human rights.
Your support can bring international attention to these injustices and pressure the Indian government to change its course. Let us stand in solidarity with these brave young individuals who are fighting for a transparent and just society.
Please sign this petition to urge Ontario and Canadian leaders to take a firm stand against these atrocities and help bring about necessary change.
