The overwhelming majority of residents support legalizing cannabis for both medical and recreational use. It’s time for our leadership to take bold action and listen to the voices of the people.

Medical Relief: Patients suffering from chronic conditions, including veterans with PTSD, deserve access to safe and effective cannabis treatments.

Social Justice: Legal reform can correct decades of racial inequities, including expungement of minor cannabis-related offenses.
The North Carolina Senate has consistently passed medical cannabis legislation, but without the support of the House GOP leadership, these bills stall, leaving patients and advocates without progress. You are a key decision-maker who can break this gridlock, Representative Hall.
