Rachel Hunt is a dedicated public servant and accomplished professional with a strong background in law and education. She earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Rachel currently serves as a State Senator in the North Carolina General Assembly, having previously represented District 103 as a State Representative in the North Carolina House of Representatives. Her commitment to education is evident through her roles as Chair of the Board of Directors at Charlotte Secondary School and Board Member at the North Carolina Foundation for Public School Children. Additionally, she is a founding partner at Charlotte School Search, LLC, and has served as Principal and Owner at Huntforcollege, LLC.
