Football walkout songs have become a tradition for many clubs and most clubs chose a song that resonates with the club, supporters or place they are from. Adelaide United instead has made the strange choice of having Wonderwall, a song that has no association. This can not stand and I call on the club to change the song to something more appropriate. 

Sea shantys are currently all the rage, with the wellerman being no 1 on the uk charts. Adelaide United should choose the awesome sea shanty Bound For South Australia as the clubs new walk out song. Not only does it make more sense than Wonderwall it would also sound awesome in a packed stadium. Imagine 15,000 people bouncing around and singing THIS SONG. 

it would immediately take the clubs walkout song from the silliest to the most awesome. As an example of how awesome the song is it's even been covered by the wiggles. Nuff said.
