We are all worried about climate change. It seems so hopeless as stubborn outdated politicians and executives refuse to change from what they have been doing since 1850. Even if we do net zero, it will take 1,000 years to reach pre-industrial c02 levels. However, a solution would be to use solar reflection. The chances of getting 1.5C are low and even then, the effects of climate change could continue and potentionally get worse, even if we are net zero. This petition is asking countries to research and prepare solar reflection devices, such as sulfur dioxide or thinning cirrius clouds. I propose we increase the amount of research and implementation of these solar reflection devices while getting closer to net zero.
