David H. Carter Jr. is a multifaceted professional with a diverse background in sports, academia, and public service. He is a former professional American football player who served as a defensive end in the NFL, playing for the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys. Carter was selected by the Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft after a successful college football career at UCLA. Beyond his athletic achievements, Carter pursued extensive academic qualifications, earning a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences, a Master's in Urban Affairs and Public Policy, and a Doctorate in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Delaware.
