Blacktown City Council is a local government area in Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is one of the largest councils in New South Wales, serving a diverse community of over 366,000 residents across Blacktown City’s 250 square kilometres. The council is responsible for providing a vast range of facilities and services including libraries, recreational centers, waste collection, and town planning. It is also dedicated to sustainability, environmental protection and enhancing the quality of life for its residents. Blacktown City Council comprises 15 Councillors elected for a four year term based upon five wards, each represented by three Councillors.
