As a person of youth myself, I can't help but to believe we're being discriminated against when we're told we can't have an opinion due to our age. This is especially seen in politics or "adult" topics. The more voices we add, the more we can strive towards a better future. The people who don't stand for that don't believe in making the world a better place, no matter what they say.

As a 32-year-old trans woman who grew up gaming, I understand deeply how important a username can be—especially during adolescence. Games were my safe space when life felt overwhelming, a place where I could be myself or imagine who I might become. But for many young people, especially trans youth, being forced to carry a name that no longer reflects who they are can turn that safe space into something painful. Not allowing users under 18 to change their PSN ID, even with parental permission, is a policy that fails to consider the very real and valid experiences of kids navigating identity and self-expression. Young people grow and change so much—especially trans and queer youth—and they deserve digital spaces that grow with them. Sony, please reconsider this policy and offer a way for minors, with appropriate safeguards, to change their PSN IDs. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and affirmed—including in their display name.

Please focus on the aspect of sex trafficking of minors. Please I beg you ammend this and include the specific wording. This issue is one of crimes against humanity. Children suffer every day in the most horrific ways. We can not tolerate this. We can not normalize 500,000-800,000 children going missing in a year. Please hear us!

As a parent, I want to see our kids rewarded for their hard work and talent — whether they’re athletes, artists, or creators. They deserve the same opportunities as students in other states. I proudly signed this petition. Let’s support their future!
Scott supported: Let South Carolina Middle & High School Athletes and Creators Benefit from NIL Rights
I signed because our kids shouldn’t have to wait until college to benefit from their own name and talent. This is about fairness and giving them a chance to grow now. Let’s stand behind them!

Many teenagers, like myself, are politically educated and want a say in who rules our country. If the voting age is lowered, it means that younger voices would be heard, it would promote more voting, and possibly encourage more teens to educate themselves politically to prepare. Sixteen year olds should be allowed to vote and stand for what they believe in.

As someone who grew up in facilities such as this I can attest to the fact that they are not the answer to "problem" children. They cause long term psychological damage and will have a negative impact throughout a person's life. I have struggled with cptsd, severe depression, social anxiety disorder, disassociation and an inability to establish healthy relationships and boundaries, self confidence and independence. My adolescence set me up for a future of unrealized potential due to the trauma I experienced that I Still battle to this day. In many ways I am still stuck in that time and it forever shaped my outlook on society, human kind and life in general, to the point I have been left paralyzed with no desire to participate in life at points.

When I was there the staff were so mean and so evil. You would get class 2 for any little reason which resulted in days of detention only able to do school work. You were forced to clean the building and only make $.25 an hour. Most of the staff were cruel and found joy in causing stress and pain. The psych Dr had ADHD so he diagnosed all the girls with adhd and forced meds on us. They would feed us baby sized portion and if they thought you were overweight you got half portions and weren’t allowed to ask for more. This place should be shut down along with many other places that do things like this to children. Because as adults it hinders our daily lives

My father sent my little brother here when he was a kid, and he's never been the same.
