These charges should never have been brought against this young man. The dehumanizing tactics used in court were appalling. These charges should be overturned. The two people in that pickup truck (Perry and Dillon) who were driving the wrong way are the only people who should have been charged with vehicular homicide. Devin is a victim of a tragic car crash and an INJUSTICE by the justice system.

By charging both drivers I feel the prosecutor disregard the nuances of the case, such as who was truly at fault or whether the circumstances warrant criminal charges for both parties. This overreach risks punishing individuals unjustly and can undermine the fairness of the legal process, turning a tragic accident into a legal spectacle.... and here we are today the reason for #SAVE DEVIN I will not stand by and allow the loss of another child by the hands of Tom Petry .

he’s a kid who experienced a pain that’s unimaginable for most of us, he has suffered enough. i’m not sure how it’s even possible he is allowed to receive the same sentence as a man who willingly got behind the wheel drunk, drove on the wrong side of a highway with no headlights for 9 miles and hit a car full of kids head on. the most devin should have gotten was a speeding ticket if that can even be proven. this is one example of how corrupt and misguided our justice system is and i pray there’s some change in this because he never deserved this.
