I am Iranian, and I support this petition. Millions of Iranians have been barred from entering the United States or living normal lives abroad due to the policies of the Islamic Republic. Why, then, are the families of Iranian government officials—who profit from repression and violence—allowed to live freely on U.S. soil while innocent people are being banned? Justice requires accountability, not privilege for those connected to power or to terrorist organizations.
This Bill is unfair for many US citizens, we are going back in time to slavery, when there were bounty hunters for black people. It seems that America hasn’t learn anything from it’s mistakes and wants to keep on repeating them! There are 47.8 million legal immigrants currently living in the US, I am one of them. Me and my family are being discriminated because of our skin color, language we speak; how would they know our situation this is just going to put more stress on our law enforcement officers, there is so much hate against us and this is just going to increase that hate. There is nothing good with this bill. If you are a Christian the Bible said people should remember their own immigrant history and treat immigrants how they want to be treated! Because we are all immigrants from all different parts of the world!
This is absolutely cruel! They are trying to divide us and that is not right we all bleed the same! I know plenty of hardworking folks that don’t have citizenship that do nothing wrong but try and work pay their bills and take care of their families and keep them safe. They are trying to deport good people because of citizenship and trying to put them into a situation that can cause their families harm this doesn’t only affect the Hispanic community it’s affects us all a lot of us have family members that they are targeting. Please help make it safe for them to stay please!
I had family in the holocaust loose their lives because of their religion and their appearance. Some escaped and came to America through Mexico because they thought they could escape persecution and live the American dream. Without their sacrifice I wouldn’t be here today and I’m sure if they were still alive they would identify these “detention centers” as what they really are; concentration camps. People are missing, getting beat, not being fed enough, stuffed in cramped cells all because they came to America with a dream. I beg of whoever is reading this to use their voice and stand up against facist policies. As they said with the holocaust, “ they didn’t come for me but my neighbors so I did nothing, then they came for the baker and my friends. Yet I still did nothing. Then they came for me and nobody was there to stop them.” They will not stop until “white america” is created just as the nazis wanted to”blue eyes and blonde hair white people”. Do not stand by and watch, make a difference or be complacent.
