This show has gotten me through some really tough times in my life and also taught me some super important lessons that I'll never forget anytime soon. And since Disney's flushing this show down the toilet of cancellation, that basically means they don't give a fuck about the love that we all have for this show. And I will not let that stand. Not on my watch!!!
As a black girl, Moon Girl is wonderful representation that inspires both myself and others to be apologetically smart, beautiful, and wise. Its rare to see shows centered on this particular demographic and for a black girl to be intelligent. Please renew the show. Moon Girl deserves a fitting conclusion
Moon girl has inspired me to very best. Moon girl has taught me to be proud of who I am, to let my voice be heard, and to never forget who I am. I remember seeing The trailer and being so excited, when I saw that first episode it made my heart smile and from that moment on I was deeply invested in the show. I love it so much not just because of the lessons it teaches but because of the characters. It has been so long since a character felt real like I can relate to her. Please don’t leave the world without a proper story for this gem of a show.
Look, I'm a comic book collector in his late 40s so I'm familiar with Devil Dinosaur & Moon Girl before it became a beloved cartoon. I mean this show is fresh with a storyline that hits home at times. This show had me and my daughter (now 7) anticipated next wk episodes, like I was in my 2nd childhood waking up to Saturday morning cartoons with my late dad. Moon Girl is still my daughter's favorite show & after sitting with her watching season 2 finale & heard her groan, "I just want them to bring Moon Girl back, I wish there were new episodes", I knew I had to Google & find out a release date to cheer her up. I don't sign petitions but I had to do something - my daughter proudly dressed as Moon Girl for Halloween in a neighborhood where she is the only colored girl & no one knew who she was dressed up to be but my daughter didn't even care because she was Moon Girl!!!!!
