What’s happening to Rasha isn’t new—it’s part of a long pattern of silencing and undermining POC leaders in student government. Rasha, like those before her, broke barriers just by showing up and doing the work—and now she’s being met with closed-door decisions, skipped procedures, and targeted backlash.
