i went to north clay a fee years ago. i slipped and hit my head really hard. it took my friend telling her i needed to go to the nurse to excuse me. i have endometriosis which causes my period cramps to be 12x worse than the average pain. when i started cramping she wouldnt let me sit out. the final incident ill comment on is when i was being bullied. a kid threw a basketball into my ribs and she saw but didnt say a thing. when i reported it to her she told me to walk it off.

AS A PARENT OF A CURRENT STUDENT: I have been informed by my student that the girl who started this petition got approached by the Super Intendant and told to take this petition down. That does not sit well with me being as it is her right to petition. Generally, no, it is not legal to be asked to take a petition down as the right to petition is protected by the First Amendment in the US Constitution, meaning that individuals have the right to express their views through petitions without undue interference .

As a teacher who worked with her I can agree she is very unkind. She constantly bully’s the kids and treats them like they’re lesser than her just because she’s a teacher. As a former teacher I would never treat my kids this badly, constantly body shaming and bullying them. When I worked at the school I had multiple kids come to me complaining about her. As a teacher you’re supposed to make your kids feel safe with you and yet she does the opposite. I feel like she does not deserve to teach. These kids should not have to be embarrassed in their own class just because their teacher is immature.

i went to north clay middle school also my 7th grade year. she would constantly get on me because i couldn't achieve things her student athletes could, which would make me break down in front of the class. everytime i had my period, i would try bringing my own pads but for some reason, she never let me. her pads were too small for me which made me very mad. she also would give you BOYS BASKETBALL SHORTS if you wore anything BUT pitch black clothing. another thing, she doesnt wash these clothes! i put them on one time and my legs began to itch and i went home and it looked like hives to me. one time i twisted my ankle and hurt my hand while playing basketball and then she proceeded to say "youre okay, its not that bad." while i was crying and made me continue playing. she ruins everyones time in school in gym. gym should be the fun class in middle school, but she makes it a living hell. they need to fire her.

I was one of the kids she picked on as I'm not very interested in pe. I also have an IEP, as I am a child with some issues, which states that if I'm having a hard time in class or get overstimulated I'm allowed to go down to a resource class. Unless I had a valid cause of why I was overstimulated, other than it was to loud and such, she would make me stay in class. I had multiple breakdowns because of this. She once asked me if I was medicated and I said I was not. She proceeded to berate me and say that I needed to be on meds. She also insulted me multiple times calling me a baby and so forth. She would laugh when I got hit in the face with a dodgeball as well and wouldn't let me go to the nurse. Ever.

I am a student at this school, and while I haven't had her yet I have heard numerous stories about her being sexist and rude. I hate that anyone has to have her and that all the girls don't feel safe in the area they have been promised is a safe place.

I few in middle school a few years ago, and going to her class everyday still has lasting effects on me to this day. Whenever I was in her class, she would always treat students who weren't popular, involved in sports, etc.. with outright favoritism. If you were a quiet kid who wasn't the best in pe, you were practically on her hit list for her to outright disrespect you. Throughout my 7-8 grade year I would beg my parents to let me stay home instead of going to school, because of how much I dread being there. Other students in the class (mostly popular kids) would make fun of me or others if we weren't able to understand the sport like pros. It was outright humiliating to be made fun of by not only your classmates, but also the teacher. a GROWN adult. What makes this crazier that one of her higher ups is her own HUSBAND. The only reason that woman hasn't been fired was because shes married to one of the people who have the power to fire her. Because of her behavior and the mark she has left on me and others, it personally, has kept with me to this day. The highschool PE teachers are an amazing example of what PE teachers TRULY should be like. Ones who care about you actually enjoying and having fun in pe, instead of being rude, and outright disrespectful to students. This year, I've actually been able to feel comfortable with playing pe, and not shy away and have breakdowns every night because I had pe the next day at school. School board should fire this woman. Even the middle school guys pe teacher can treat the kids better than her.

I had her as a teacher for 7th and 8th grade. She always picked on the kids if they weren't as athletic as the other students, couldn't do stretches well, did understand things, ect. If someone was on the verge of passing out, throwing up, or anything she would push them. One of my friends was a having a mental breakdown in the locker room and she shoved her out of the way to get to a locker. Please fire this horrible person.

i went to north clay middle school and i currently have a little brother and sister going there. mrs anderson likes to pick on the girls who aren’t as popular, rich, has a good name, in sports etc. i was one of those kids who were not the best in PE and she constantly belittled and makes you feel dumb for not being on top of everything like the rest of the class. my sister has very soft bones, and easily breaks or sprains her ankle. mrs anderson still tries to continually get my sister to walk even when her ankle is messed up. fire her!
