Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault

To give clarity to the questioning of the legitimacy of the petition.

This petition started because the band has/had shown signs of dangerous repetitive behaviors.

Multiple people have been sexually/physically, emotionally, and mentally abused by members of this band in various states, over a long period of time. Including people, I've come in contact with as well as friends of mine. This has also included intimidating their victims in public spaces, such as at shows, which until now has silenced them.

These victims have been brave enough to come forward with actual testimony and evidence to the relevant parties, which resulted in the band being dropped effectively and immediately from various tours, festivals, etc. This itself should be enough proof that this is beyond this petition or the podcast, but real-life victims coming forward.

I have in the past tried to communicate with a member of Soul Blind through networking. Never at any point have/had I been infatuated with any of them or had intentions of having any personal feelings towards anyone in this band. I have nothing to lose or gain, I am simply standing up to these abusers, standing in solidarity with the victims, and giving them (the victims) a voice.

With any form of assault, coercion, or abuse victims need to feel safe, and it is not anyone's responsibility to force them to come forward before they are ready. The person that I posted up was posted anonymously, because the victim wanted to ensure that Cen was not able to contact or recognize it was them, for their own safety. Victims need to have a safe space for them when they come forward to the relevant teams, behind the scenes, and not feel as if they have to remain silent.
