Mrs.Anderson is a wide problem around North Clay Middle School. She is rude and unwelcoming. She also only targets female students,which is sexist. Many student have or had multiple problems with her, she is a major antagonist in the school day. Students shouldn't feel un-welcoming or uncomfortable in class with a teacher. When students get in trouble with her, her husband Mr.Anderson is the dean, in which there is no room to argue or prove a point in how you feel because he is offended and doesn't take a students side. The same issues had occurred over and over again with the same and different students at North Clay.   Mrs.Anderson has been reported to say multiple things to students like "i'm sick of you in my class" and other things which students take offend to but cannot report or make a point to anyone because of the dean being her husband. Problems with LuAnne have continued for over 10 years. 

    Female students should not have to worry about not being able to leave class when they started they’re period or bleed through because she says no, she openly treats male students differently than female students which is noticed and offended. Problems with her have been brought up multiple times to administration and staff and which they take low action because the dean ( Brent Anderson) takes control and doesn’t listen to students words and opinions because they are married. No students should dread going to class because of her unwelcoming attitude and rudeness. Teachers should have to respect students as much as we respect them, and which students don’t feel respected or comfortable in her surrounding.

   I, Charleigh Stemrich, have went to school administration and shared multiple said facts about the issues and have been told that multiple students have came down for problems, other students have shared their own stories and problems. I personally feel targeted because at North Clay Middle school Students have the time 7:45-8 in which the car riders can get into the doors to the school, I into the bathroom each morning to use the restroom, and on some days fix my hair or change. Mrs.Anderson comes into the bathroom, as she watches me go in there and says “What are you ladies doing in here?” and she sees what we’re doing or if i’m using the restroom and she proceeds to tell us to get out of the bathroom. Administration said that that time is ours to use and we should not have to leave the restroom on our own time. Also we get dismissed from the commons at 8 and the bell rings at 8:15, Me and usually my friend Sophie, Emma, and Emma go to the other hallways to the restroom to use the restroom and her home room is in the extra music room by the bathroom and when we go in there if she doesn’t yell at us before walking down the hallway will go in the bathroom and say the same thing “ what are you ladies doing in here” when one of us is using the restroom. I also brought that up and administration said that is our passing period and our time to use the restroom. The 8th grade hallway restroom is usually full of students and has a line. We go to that restroom because I get breakfast every morning and we proceed to go to the restroom after. I think it’s an issue because we have the right to be in the bathroom and she should not be in there and act like she owns the hall.

    Other problems are her saying rude and misleading things, being rude to students mostly females for things that are on accident or even sometimes stuff that doesn’t need to be address. When you receive a refer from LuAnne, you get sent to Brent Anderson, the dean, which is in charge of your consequences, and if you try to bring it up to him or argue if it’s unnecessary or share your problems with her he ignores cause they are married. This is not fair at all and students should be able to share their open opinion and if a lot of students have shared similar things and problems with guidance because they can’t share with Brent, it should be addressed and tooken care of at another level other than sitting and talking to her because, she doesn’t change her actions or her attitude.
