Wildlife are losing more and more homes every day due to humanity’s need for more. We do not need more; we only want it. If this building proceeds and goes through, we are killing the environment around us, I want to save what we have left.
We moved out here so we could raise our children in a quiet and peaceful place. Sad to see that some are willing to come into a rural community and senselessly destroy is way of life while claiming they want to “be a good neighbor”. Hopefully the voices of the many outweigh the money of the few!
Please reconsider the decision to build in this area. This will negatively affect people's homes and livelihood. There are thousands of other areas to consider, including sections of cities with abandoned buildings that are dilapidated and in need of being torn down. Building in areas such as these not only removes the dangerous buildings, but also keeps ecosystems intact and avoids killings and displacing hundreds of wild animals. Please, please, please consider the wellbeing of the Earth and those in the community instead of merely the income you will benefit from.
At the end of my neighborhood there was a beautiful pond that my Dad and I would fish at. Beautiful piece of land, but a massive warehouse was built over it killing everything in and around the pond. I hope you can preserve your land and I wish you the best with the fight against the track.
I’ve become way more depressed since seeing more and more properties built solely out of convenience. Nature is everyone’s home and destroying it would be destroying us.
I used to go to Stillwater as a kid and it was one of my favorite places. It was always so peaceful and calm, and it was a nice escape from busy every day life where you could just sit back and enjoy nature. With a race track near it that will be gone, and this little escape that touched so many people will no longer exist. Don’t let that happen!
Undeveloped land will always mean more to wild animals than this racetrack will mean to the developers. To you it’s a business venture but to them it’s their home, and it’s priceless.
