Opening school tomorrow is an inconsiderate decision based on the conditions of our area. Roads and walkways are still enveloped with ice and snow residue; my car along with many others can barely exit the neighborhood due to the large amount of snow still present on the roads. Any form of transportation puts both the students and the drivers at risk for accidents.

It’s stressful for parents to worry about their kids traveling in dangerous conditions, and it’s risky for bus drivers, students, and teachers too. Closing schools on days like this puts everyone’s safety first and helps families avoid unnecessary anxiety.

This decision to open schools tomorrow is extremely inconsiderate of the safety of your students/staff. My side walk to the bus stop is covered in ice and I also slipped multiple times trying to simply walk in my house.
