This petition was created in hopes of convincing the district to cancel classes tomorrow due to the severe and unsafe weather conditions affecting our area.

Navigating the roads, waiting for school buses, and commuting during this severe weather poses a significant safety hazard to students, parents, and staff members alike. Many local families and younger students lack the necessary gear or transportation to safely navigate flooded or hazardous streets.

Out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of the Broward County community, we respectfully ask that the district consider closing schools tomorrow until conditions clear.
