My mother is a cancer survivor I find Peach comments highly offensive to people battling this disease
I care because disrespect toward a cancer patient is harmful and unacceptable. As a cancer survivor, I understand how critical compassion and support are, and allowing that kind of behavior undermines the safe, supportive environment every patient and survivor deserves.
I am a cancer survivor and I once supported this lady not knowing how she really felt about ones that have or had cancer. I feel disrespected to the fullest along with others that’s battling this illness or in remission not knowing of or when it will come back.
I am one of Ethiopian Orthodox Church believers so I am worried about my people dying without any reason . They died because of their religion. Stop Stop Stop this nonsense practice on children, mothers, religious leaders or fathers. We need religious freedom please.
I personally feel uneasy about the flag on campus because it touches on topics that conflict with my upbringing. I fully respect everyone’s right to express themselves, but I also feel that university spaces should stay neutral on sensitive issues. Seeing the flag makes me feel like my own beliefs aren’t welcome.
I support this cause because I feel like the flag represents a specific political belief, not just a symbol of inclusion. For some, it conflicts with personal or religious values. I believe campus spaces should stay neutral and not promote one group's views over others. Having this flag up makes some people uncomfortable and can feel divisive. I think it's very important to respect everyone's beliefs and keep a balance on campus.
When I came to the university, I expected shared spaces to stay neutral so everyone could feel comfortable. I was raised in a home where public areas were kept free of any group specific symbols or flags. I don’t think inclusivity works by highlighting one group over others in common spaces. I just want displays on campus to follow a clear and fair process so everyone feels included. My parents have also expressed regret for sending me here now.
Take it down now the only flag should be the American flag
I grew up in a religious household as well. So seeing the trans flag on campus feels unfamiliar and makes not just me but my parents a bit hesistant for sending me here . I’d feel that the university should stay neutral and not show any one group’s flag. I’d think keeping the space simple and the same for everyone is better
