I'm a nurse and I worked in the jail I witnessed a lot of abuse. From the officers and even some nurses. I belive it's the culture but it does not have to be. Pepole are encouraged and told to turn there head and ignore the abuse. There were officers who became inmates due to crossing the line and were corrupt.
Sherrif Blanco has made it really loud and clear that he does not respect the latino community. Lately with all that this new presidential that just started. I feel so unsafe and feel I will be so easily targeted due to the color of my skin.
Hy my name is Alejandra and my family and self are worry, scared, knowing that Sheriff Bianca wants to collaborate with ice or he is doing it already. We all know that sheriff Bianca doesn’t not like us Hispanic is not a secret! Riverside has a lot of Hispanic living here we help this city become what it is know! Like it or not is true. This past days there’s been so much hate so much racism so much fear, and it not ok we don’t deserve it. If we use to be sacred of the riverside PD now we have fear to be stop by one. I think sheriff Bianco needs to stop spreading fear and making his supporters doing the same. His salary is built by Latinos also.
I was married to Eric n beedy for 12 yrs. I left running after 10 yrs and filed for divorce.
I left because he mentally, emotionally, or physically abused me every day.
I have been in counseling now for more than 10 yrs. And thank God in heaven he put people in my life to help me put me back together. I wish Gloria had those chances too.
I also went to project woman and asked for help. I am so blessed that I had family who had their hands out to lift me out of that situation. My son and his wife graciously opened their home and gave me a safe place to start to heal my heart, soul, and my mind and body.
And "b", my councilor, has guided me in dealing with trauma and ptsd.
Ric's actions and words left me a nothing nobody and left me broken.
Gloria deserved so much better.
I saw her on the sidewalk one day, and told her to get away before he hurts her too. She probably that I was a "crazy ex."
I wasn't the first to divorce ric.
He has a criminal past that he never seems to really "get in trouble" for. Why does he get so many "free passes"???
I stand up for Gloria because the Springfield police have not. (In my opinion).
Thank you, Beth Hutchison
This is similar to something that I am going through now. It is ridiculous how the "justice" system can get away with the things they do. I am going through a similar situation in Federal Way, Washington and King County, Washington courts
The officers need to be held accountable for their actions and for the comments that they made on camera, just because they have a badge doesn't mean they are above the law, this whole situation on how they handled Mr. Mast was just wrong and officer Bledsoe had no business being the one to handle the situation being that he had confrontation with the victim before and then for the sheriff's office to bluntly lie about the whole situation is just so very very wrong.
Watch the body cam footage. Listen to the voices of the officers. Hear the disgusting language and malice intent in their voice as they forcefully ended Chad's life. Then realize that's the last things Chad heard on this earth at the hands of these evil men. Then think, if I was on video talking to another human this way as I took his life, where would i be, would I be a free man? I dont think so. I'd be in prison with the rest of the evil killers of the world. Their actions came too easy, this is their normal behavioral pattern and this time it ended in the death of a man who should and would still be alive if a decent group of officers had of conducted this stop. If the officer who killed George Floyd was guilty then so are these evil men. There must be justice here for Chad and to save any future victims from the hands of these evil men.
I couldn't even finish watching the body cam footage. These police around here keep getting away with this, it's certainly not the first time a cop from Ashe county has been in the news for killing someone. Something's gotta give.
As someone who’s family both work in the law enforcement and have been in trouble with the law, i fully believe the officers were in the wrong here. they were untrained, unprofessional, and disrespectful. in the body came footage you notice that they never gave a reason for pulling him over, never read him his miranda rights, didn’t even give me a chance to get off the bike after screaming at him to do so; they charged at him, ripped him off his bike, let him suffocate in his mask and be strangled by his safety equipment, and proceeded to administer unreliable CPR and medical treatment. murder is murder; a badge does not exclude you.
