I lost my brother to a drunk driver. Three young boys lost their father. My sister and I lost our protector. I watched my parents age with grief. He went to jail for a whole 12 months. He was the first drunk driver to be locked up killing someone while drunk in the state of Wisconsin. He was belligerent and felt entitled to get back to normal life. We never could.
Please help this family know that their loved one is certainly worth the inconvenience that this killer is afraid to feel.
Rest in peace, David.

My mother lost her father at the age of 13, due to a head on collision with a drunk driver. This young man was my my daughter’s friend for many years. There has to be stiffer penalties for people that choose to drive drunk! The impact this careless choice makes ruins lives forever!
Brad Woods killed someone near and dear to not only me but to many others, his recklessness and disregard for safety and human life should not be forgotten or forgiven, enabling this man to get his liscence back is enabling him to do the very same thing to someone else all over again.
This man took a life. How is this even an option that he could request his license back? DUI's need stiffer penalties, with lives taken for diving under the influence have life privileges such as ever driving away taken for life. This is a parents nightmare, don't give him the opportunity to destroy more lives.
I admit I do not personally know these people and have they have endured. I saw this on my friends page who knew Avery. However, in no way shape or form should Brad be allowed his license back. Avery was a PERSON. a son, a friend, and clearly a very loving member of his community. The same community that Brad and his wife Paige endangered and will continue to endanger unless he is continuously punished.
Brad took someone very close to not only me and many others. The fact that this is even in discussion hurts. I can’t get my friend back but he should not have the potential to enter a vehicle and ruin another family.
Consider this, what if this was your child or grandchild? Would you want this petition to be heard? Would you understand why this person was not in jail? Driving is a privilege, not an entitlement. How could Brad even consider he has a right to a drivers license right now?
It is important to find a way to forgive, but not to be ignorant about the probability of the repeated behavior. Please think about this. There are consequences to the choices each person makes. The consequences need to be dealt with not swept under the rug or ignored.
It is an absolute nightmare, I hope that the changes are coming! I stand with this mom because I myself am deprived from my daughter! In the most outrageous way with no opportunity to a trial! My child is gone, my savings are gone, my life and my family, reputation, health are ruined to the ground! It’s a nationwide epidemic and yes! It should be investigated and orosecuted immediately, so as all such outrage across the country!
BCDSS is something my children and I have had to survive, for the last 15 MONTHS they have held my children from me, housed them unsafely, neglected them, all over truancy. The attendance charge was dropped over a year ago, WHY do they get to keep my children as long as they see fit?
