Please help us stop Bradley Woods from receiving back his driving privileges for our son’s case. Bradley Woods was indicted from a grand jury on March 14, 2025 with 21 one counts.  Reckless homicide (for Avery’s death - that is the actual picture of his car), OWI, causing catastrophic injury (for Rylee, his girlfriend that was the passenger in his vehicle and taken to the hospital). PLUS, leaving the scene of the accident, after he called his wife to pick him up and take him away. Which she did. Paige Woods is also being charged; with obstruction. With the other charges supporting those bigger charges on him. 

The accident happened on December 23, 2023.  In the Southeast District of Marion County, Indianapolis, IN. Brad and Paige Woods were arrested on March 15,2025.

Avery & Rylee had left our family Christmas party hours earlier and a few hours later had decided to run out and get Chick-fil-A. Brad Woods hit our son’s vehicle head on in his F350 Ford truck on Southport Road. Avery died an 1 1/2 -2 hours later at Methodist Hospital after he was extracted from his car by the firefighters.  Rylee was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Brad left the scene with his wife Paige, before he was released by police and before he could be taken to the hospital. 

Brad Woods  requested the court to reinstate his license on April 2, 2025. His license was suspended after the grand jury indictment, but he is requesting it back. So now his suspended license and the breathalyzer that’s suppose to accompany the loss of his license are both now pending until the judge makes their decision on both, in the next few weeks. 

This petition is to present to the judge that will be making this decision in the next few weeks so we need it to be shared and signed quickly. This is our community and we need to take the roads back from all the drunk & reckless drivers that are getting slaps on their wrist for killing our loved ones. Our loved ones and their families are the recipients of these driver’s irrevocable bad decisions.  Our loved ones paid with their lives or if they were lucky enough to survive they are paying with any physical and especially mental symptoms left behind from their carnage they inflicted on our families! We did not bring this to them, they brought it to us.
