I ended up with a surprise bill for something that seemed relatively routine. I asked them for an itemized bill and got what looked like the same exact vague information as the first bill with no actual specifics. I paid the bill off but haven't been back to a doctor since. If I ever have to see a doctor, I will be avoiding UCHealth. If that isn't possible, I would gladly leave Colorado.
Justin supported: Investigate UC Health's Billing Malpractices
ESPECIALLY with inflation, it is a struggle to live paycheck to paycheck on my pay of $12 an hour much less minimum wage of $7.25. This is a ridiculous, outdated standard that needs to be changed.
Hannah supported: Raise the Federal Minimum Wage to $15 an Hour

Our credit history is our property, not a free asset for corporations to exploit. If credit bureaus profit from selling our data, we should get our fair share. It's time to demand financial justice!
Bob supported: Pay Us for Our Credit Data! Stop Credit Bureaus from Profiting Off Consumers for Free!
This is long overdue—our data has value, and we should be compensated when others profit from it. Credit bureaus must be held accountable and start paying consumers for the use of their credit information!

As working parents, my husband and I both hold full-time jobs and depend heavily on reliable childcare to support our family and careers. However, with childcare costs nearing $2,000 a month, the $5,000 limit barely covers three months of expenses. This outdated cap places an unfair financial burden on families, many of whom struggle to balance the rising costs of childcare with other essential expenses. Updating the Dependent Day Care FSA limit to reflect today’s childcare costs would provide much-needed financial relief for working families. This adjustment would empower more parents to remain in the workforce while ensuring their children receive safe and quality care. It’s time for the government to recognize the dramatic increase in childcare costs and take action by raising the Dependent Day Care limit to a more realistic and equitable amount. Families across the country need this change now more than ever.
Jeanie supported: Congressman Brendan Boyle: Increase FSA dependent care limits
$5000 is 1.2 months of childcare for our household not counting supplemental care for in service work days, illness or afterschool care. Please adjust for the last 25 years of inflation and index to inflation, it would make a huge difference to families who are struggling and still in the wealth accumulation phase of life with daycare, student loans and hoping to buy a house if possible.
David T supported: Congressman Brendan Boyle: Increase FSA dependent care limits
We are a family of 4 paying for two under two in day care. Our budget is very tight as two professionals in healthcare and the school system.
