For me, I don't like taking any pills for doctors or any where. I don't want to become addicted. When it come to weed, it's a plant, all natural, no added drugs. It helps me with my mental issues, all around smoking helps me live a every day life. If it wasn't for weed. I would probably be a addict to some far far worse. We need recreational or medicinal weed.
Legalizing cannabis in Indiana could give so many people using opioids or other medications for pain management another accessible and better option. It would also help to keep our tax dollars in our state and help the community thrive, I believe this would be a step in the right direction for Indiana
As a healthcare worker specializing in patient care, the amount of my patients I see on a polypharmaceutical regimen that not only comes with nasty side effects that require MORE medications to counteract, but also feel their lives have not been improved for the amount of suffering they still go through despite being on all of these medications, is pitiful. We need to get our heads out of the sand and start helping people in ways that benefit with minimal side effects and more healing properties, both physically and spiritually. I myself have been battling mental health issues for years and have been tried on a number of medications, from SSRIs to SSDIs and Norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. None of them have helped and the only treatment I’ve ever found worked is marijuana, but due to its legality I cannot receive the treatment I know as a healthcare provider benefit me, and my patients. Stop this madness now.
I use medical marijuana to help with my anxiety and insomnia as well as some other medical problems and I believe it would be beneficial for others within Indiana as well.
Marijuana has saved my life I was once a junkie for over 20 years and with the help of marijuana I'm sober off anything that will kill me thanks to this powerful plant with life saving ability
From Mental illness to heart breaking diseases to something like a sore back and muscle pain I’ve seen first hand how much Marijuana has helped not only me but family and friends and I’m sure people across America. I truly hope that they can understand the good that this could do.
if i can go out after work to get drinks with friends why can’t i hangout with friends to roll up after work? why do i as someone with chronic anxiety have to give up something so natural just to turn into an alcoholic. not allowing people to smoke makes them turn to other more destructive forms of self medication.
I care about this issue because I have known other adults in other states who have used this herb to help with pain, eating disorders I have seen this plant help many people with seizures and mood disorders and even extreme mental health conditions. and not all of them smoke it some ingest it, drink it, use little dropper to drop some under their Tongue, it helps them target pain that prescription pills just can't help and gives a boost of energy with it so they are able to get certain tasks done they wanted to do or even calm them down enough so they can get a proper sleep at night. i had an older neighbor at a time less then 2 years ago who had severe health problems he was in and out of the hospital all the time most of his legs were amputated off and he had severe infections and the health care system blew him off he was in constant pain he would take several pain medications and it was affecting his liver and kidneys and heart but when he would ingest THC or marijuana he would instantly feel better and you can physically tell he wasn't in that much pain and he would go out on his scooter chair and take his dogs out they would sit on his lap in the chair and get coffee.
And that is just one of many people I've seen that this plant has helped. another one is my grandmother has gone through many surgeries and is in pain a lot she has tried the tincture for the pain it helped her and even after she broke her hip, she said it helped her through that as well (and she was moving) across multiple states. it has helped some of my close friends who battles a constant war with mental health problems that are barely treatable diagnoses with medications or even in locked in facilities it has been helping them stay the most stable I've seen then in years they have developed a regular eating sleeping schedule and has very little psychosis episodes since they have started using this plant.
I also know other important person to me who was in the military and got hurt on duty and was discharged and a few doctors later this herb was recommended by to him and he used it and had improvement in his life from that incident.
I know one that for sure this plant/ herb is not something that should be illegal to use.
it is a natrual medicine that helps people that are
Fighting cancer, Treating chronic pain,
Managing multiple sclerosis, mental health conditions like PTSD\C-PTSD, bipolar 1&2 .
and they should have a less addictive and more natural medication options available to those that does less damage on your liver and kidneys first before jumping right into a chemically developed pain management
Marijuana is a big help to many people around the world, in the United States and maybe even your own family members I mean if most didn't know CBD and THC come from the same plant and CBD is Legal in Indiana.
Please help people that are struggling with pain management, mental health and a lot more health issues.
I have PTSD and medical marijuana has been the best medicine, in terms of most effective and least side effects. Everyone should have access for treatment options.
Texas is stuck in the past while the rest of the country moves forward. Despite 62% of Texans supporting the legalization of recreational marijuana and 79% backing medical use , our leaders continue to ignore the will of the people. The state’s hemp industry contributes over $10 billion to the economy and supports more than 50,000 jobs. Legalizing cannabis could generate over $1.1 billion in tax revenue per biennium. Yet, instead of embracing these opportunities, officials push for bans that threaten small businesses and personal freedoms. It’s time for Texas to prioritize its citizens’ voices and economic well-being over outdated policies and political agendas.
