So under these proposals if you are 60-66 using an oyster card you would still qualify for free tube/train in London yet when you reach the age of 66 most of these will be taken away, just when you are likely to retire, have less income and no chance of another employment. How can that be justified. Surely it would be better to restrict for 60-66? Or preferably not at all
My husband has to attend Moorfields Hospital every month. We are both elderly pensioners and travel on the tube to get there as I need to accompany him. This will put a huge strain on our resources if we have to pay. Yes other areas do not get this benefit but Londoners have extra costs anyway living in the most expensive area in the UK.
As I am dying from ALS, I can only hope that the people of Ireland realize how precious all lives are, and their hatred towards Jews diminishes their own lives in ways they don’t understand.
What would Dartmoor be without its ponies. They are a National Treasure, we should honour them. Our family spent many a happy weekend or spare evening on Dartmoor visiting these ponies, they need to be protected for future generations. The are a visitor attraction too. Kill off the ponies, stopping over night camping, do you really think people are going to driving miles to get to Dartmoor in their droves. Those ponies and a chance to wake up in a wilderness setting is what attracts people. They can hike over half of England but they don’t get that.
