Thank you for your incredible support so far. We're now over the 2.500 mark and still gaining daily.

Due to what I believe is a clear bias in the way this process is being handled, and my own personal mistrust of the local direction, I have decided to take our case to a national level.

I am now in the process of applying to Historic England to seek protection for our motorbike parking. There has been a motorcycle park at this site for nine decades, and it is my personal belief that we must secure its status permanently. I am now working towards the idea of a national motorbike event in 2028 to celebrate its 90th anniversary, and keeping the park in its current form is imperative to that goal. 

Securing this national protection would mean the Council could no longer change the park’s status on a whim. It would legally preserve our space for future generations and put Norwich on the map as a premier national heritage destination for the biking community.

How you can help right now:
Keep sharing the petition: We must demonstrate the scale of public concern to the national authorities.

Provide evidence: Information and evidence from anyone across the nation who has ridden on road trips and stopped off in Norwich would be of unrivaled value.

Share your history: If you have photos or stories from past decades at this spot, please send them. This longevity is exactly what Historic England needs to see.
