I fell in love with this show from the first episode, and have watched the first season several times already. The characters are incredible and feel so real and relatable — they seem like actual people I could meet. In a world where so much media is just remakes and sequels to old things, something this new and unique is so refreshing, and fills a space that has previously been sitting empty. It reminds people of the value of the arts, has fantastic neurodivergent representation, and above all else, highlights how the arts can bring people together. That, to me, is an incredibly important message, and one worth fighting to preserve. I have developed a newfound interest and appreciation for ballet through this show, and have even started learning French. Ètoile is a masterpiece in so many ways, and is important both as statement in the modern world and individually to so many people. Please, do not let this show be lost. Save it, and give it the second season it, and we all, deserve.

It’s atrocious! We don’t ask for special treatment… we just want decency and reapect
