Amazon Prime Video ordered two seasons of Étoile and they have now made the despicable move to cancel it after only one season. I adored this show and I know a lot of other people did as well! It is a show about saving the arts, so please don't let it die!

A passion project for Amy Sherman-Palladino who has a ballet background, the eight-episode Étoile follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies in New York and Paris as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars.

Belen Edwards (Mashable) described it as a 'delightful new TV binge' and said that 'Chemistry (both comedic and romantic) bursts out of damn near every scene, and the combination of both English and French dialogue helps emphasize the show's trans-Atlantic scale.'

The show has an 85% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes!

This a plea to anyone working in TV, but specifically to the directors of Apple TV, please pick Étoile up for a second season. With proper promotion, this show will be a hit!
