Hastings has a large trans and queer community. The award winning local trans pride event is now three years old and is having a real positive impact in the town.
However, local services and funding have been cut and there is little practical support for trans and non binary folks. So actual real support from local people, businesses and community organisations makes a real difference to the real world lived experiences of this increasingly marginalised group.

Please add to this support by continuing to share the open letter and encouraging your friends and family to sign and share. It is a powerful statement to support the trans people living in our local community and reject the unhelpful anti-trans article recently published in the Hastings Independent.
