Project 2025 is RUINING our future. as someone who plans to go to college, have kids maybe even marry a woman; this deeply hurts me. the fact that kids wont have a proper education or a right to their body is truly frightening
Birth control is for more than just “having sex for fun without the risk of a child”. It’s used to treat many issues that women have, and can also be used as a safeguard for girls just in case they are raped in the streets.
Trans people have a high suicide rate. This isn’t because they experience a disconnect after transitioning, but because society doesn’t want their voice to be heard or their opinions to matter. People are dying, but no one seems to care about human life.
Abortion is an argument starter- there are many questions around morality. But what if the mother’s life is at risk? What if a child was unwillingly forced into this? Rape investigations don’t happen fast enough for the child to be able to get access to an abortion before the child is born. It often takes years.
This is a democracy. Not a dictatorship. Why did our people choose this? Why choose death? It’s because they think they’re choosing life, and they’re misinformed about how any of this works.
I am currently an undergrad getting my degree in Social Work and so I've been learning a lot about politics and social policy on so many different levels. One of the things that I value is respect and advocacy for the disabled community as I have siblings and other family members that are disabled. Project 2025 unfortunately affects more than just a few groups of people and likely affects almost everyone in one way or another. The disabled community is one that will be adversely affected by this regulatory agenda, potentially undoing years or even decades of civil rights policies for all marginalized communities. It is sad to see the oppression returning to our country when we have all fought so long and hard for our voices to be heard. But I have faith that humanity will somehow pull through this, just as we always have. We have a lot of support and we will continue to fight to be accepted for who we are whether society likes it or not.
People have fought for equal rights for DECADES and this shouldn't be what ends all that we worked for. It should not matter what gender, sex, orientation, race, or religion you are. Personally I'm scared for my friends lives because of this project. Not to mention the planet altogether. A lot of not all of the things in Project 2025 is absolutely POINTLESS and won't benefit anyone except the government.
I'm scared. Truly. I'm technically not that old, but I'm terrified for the future and what will happen if I do want to decide to be openly LGBTQ+. I'm scared about my choices in the future if I have a dangerous pregnancy. I'm scared for project 2025.
I am Bisexual and Nonbinary, if Project 2025 isn’t stopped than I might not be able to be able to express myself how I want to. I want everyone to be treated with kindness and respect. Not with inhumanity and cruelty.
I am queer and AFAB, and I refuse to let the rights the people before me have built be stolen by a man who only knows how to steal and destroy. I refuse to be silent. In 2025, we need to be louder than we ever have before.
I am a queer activist that constantly tries finding ways to educate people about equality, if project 2025 succeeds, me, and most of the people I know will be endangered. Let 2025 be something to look forward to, not to fear.
